Glenbard Parent Series speaker on Jan. 12 to discuss cultivating genius and joy

On Wednesday, Jan. 12, the Glenbard Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families will present "Cultivating Genius and Joy: An Equity Framework to Ensure All Children Thrive" with Gholdy Muhammad at 7 p.m. via Zoom.

Muhammad, author of "Cultivating Genius and Joy," will offer ways to tap into students' strengths and promote success for students within and beyond the classroom. Muhammad will discuss how to build relationships and develop instructional practices that are meaningful to all students. She also will review her framework for excellence in literacy education.

Muhammad is an associate professor of language and literacy at the University of Illinois-Chicago. She has experience as a teacher, district administrator and instructional designer.
