Lavelle Law Adds Attorney Clayton Thomas Dant to Personal Injury and Litigation Teams

This week, Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law announced that attorney Clayton Thomas Dant will be joining the Personal Injury and Litigation practice groups as an Associate.

Dant has been serving as a law clerk for Lavelle Law, working collaboratively with attorneys across several practice groups since June of 2020. Prior to that, he served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and The Supreme Court of Illinois.

"We are very excited to add Clayton to our growing Personal Injury practice," said Lavelle Law Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "He has already proved to be a valuable asset in the work he's done with our litigation and personal injury teams, conducting extensive research to support cases and helping our attorneys at hearings or in their efforts to draft pleadings."

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, Dant was the recipient of the Distinguished Scholar Scholarship and was recognized as a Dean's List member for each of his three years in school. He earned his BA from North Central College.

"To truly serve, we must come from a place of understanding," noted Dant. "In every step of litigation, achieving justice for my clients is the driving force that pushes me forward with passion, persistence, and perseverance."
