Advent study begins at Gary Church in Wheaton

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is offering an Advent study at 9:50 a.m. Sundays, Nov. 28-Dec. 19.

The study will focus on the book, "All the Good: A Wesleyan Way of Christmas."

In the book, a group of diverse Wesleyan scholars takes you on an Advent journey highlighted by illustrations and stories.

In this class, we will look at preparing the way for God, the impact and significance of prayer, the substance of good works and caring for others, and sharing God's mission to the world.

The church at 224 N. Main St. offers a 9 a.m. Sunday worship service in the sanctuary, complete with Kids' Church, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org.

After the worship service, you can enjoy Sunday school for all ages, plus a coffee hour called "Special Blend."
