Tickets open Nov. 15 for Christ Church's CarolFest Christmas concert Dec. 12

Gather family and friends to celebrate the holiday season with one of the community's beloved Christmas traditions.

Christ Church in Oak Brook will host its annual CarolFest Christmas concert featuring Handel's "Messiah" and songs of Christmas, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12.

Tickets will be available starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at christchurch.us/carolfest.

This year's performance includes holiday classics, traditional carols, and excerpts of Handel's "Messiah."

The afternoon will feature the Christ Church Chancel Choir accompanied by a chamber orchestra, as well as organ, piano and professional soloists.

They are looking forward to gathering in person and online for this year's CarolFest.

Christ Church is committed to the health and safety of our audience, artist, technicians and volunteer hosts. We will be ticketing this year's concert in order to create a safe space for everyone. All individuals must wear a mask while in the Christ Church building and during the performance. They ask that those feeling unwell or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms enjoy CarolFest online. Thank you for helping us create a welcome environment for all.

Note these important measures to gathering:

All guests will be required to show a ticket upon entry and be in their seats at 2:55 p.m. At that time (2:55 p.m.), tickets will be released to guests that are present. Ticket holders that arrive late may find seats in the sanctuary if available or view the concert from the auditorium via livestream.

Doors will be opened at 2:15 p.m. for guests to find their seats.

Guests without a ticket are welcome to view the concert via livestream in the auditorium.

Childcare, with limited capacity, for kids up to age 4 will be available for guests.

The concert will be 90 minutes with no intermission.

The Christmas Cookie reception will not be held this year.
