"We have a crisis on our hands, and its victims are our children," said Marc Brackett, author of "Permission to Feel."

In his 25 years as an "emotion scientist," Brackett has developed a plan to improve the lives of young people and adults - a blueprint for understanding our emotions and using them wisely so they help our well-being. His prescription for healthy children and adults is a system called RULER, a high-impact approach to understanding and mastering emotions.

Brackett, who is the lead developer of RULER, will provide insight into developing the strategies and skills of this tested and proven process.
