Bartlett Park District Sugar Rush Youth Fun Run October 30

Burn off your pre-Halloween energy with the Bartlett Park District's Sugar Rush Youth Fun Run Oct. 30.

Run, skip, hop, walk this fun, themed race in costume around the path at Beaver Pond, 994 W. Stearns Road in Bartlett. Half-mile for ages 3-5; one mile for ages 6-10.

Each finisher receives a goody bag filled with candy, an event medal and an event shirt. Awards also will be given for best male and best female youth costumes in each age division.

Costumes are highly encouraged. Costume judging will take place at Beaver Pond next to the registration table from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Please arrive early.

To participate in the costume contest, you must be a registered participant and complete the race event in your costume to be eligible for prizes. You must also have a race number visible. Please keep your race bib number on for winner announcements.

You must be present at the awards ceremony to win a prize: ages 3-5 at 10 a.m., ages 6-8 at 10:30 a.m., ages 9-10 at 11 a.m.

Fee is $25. Advanced registration required by Wednesday, Oct. 20.
