Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law announced the addition of attorney Victoria R. Paton to the firm. Paton will be joining the Family and Litigation practice groups at Lavelle Law.

"We are very excited to have Tori joining Lavelle Law," said Lavelle Law Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "She has experience handling cases that cover all aspects of family law, and her expertise will allow the firm to continue to expand our offering to help even more clients navigate the legal system."

Prior to joining the team at Lavelle Law, Paton was an associate attorney at Pucci | Pirtle, LLC and Desai & Miller. She earned her a bachelor's in social science from University of Ottawa and attended the Michigan State University College of Law. Currently, Paton is an active member of the Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Business and Referral Connections Group through the Chamber.

"The family law process can be emotionally charged and difficult to digest," Paton said. "My goal is to help clients understand the relevant Illinois family law statutes and zealously advocate for them to achieve the best possible result for their family."
