Enjoy Music in the Park July 25 at Wheaton's new band shell

Wheaton's 13th annual Music in the Park returns as a live music event in the newly remodeled band shell at Memorial Park.

It will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at 208 W. Union Ave. in downtown Wheaton.

This year's featured artists include:

• Joe Filisko and Eric Noden performing original blues songs, train imitations, and harmony vocals, complimented by virtuosic harmonica and guitar playing;

• Small Potatoes, with Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso, playing music ranging from country, blues and swing to Irish;

• Brendan Bulger and Jim DeWan, performing lively jigs and reels, beautiful aires and more, with Bulger, an All-Ireland Fiddle Champion and DeWan, an award-winning Celtic guitar accompanist.

Admission is free. Covered stadium seating available. Bring your own chair if you prefer.

The "Music in the Park" is sponsored by First Trust Portfolios, Farmers Insurance - Budd Smith Agency, Burning Bush Art Gallery, Folk-Lore Center, City of Wheaton, Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Commission, and Wheaton Park District.
