Sign up for virtual Run for the STARS 5K/Dash through June 19

There's still time to join the annual Run for the STARS 5K/Dash.

You can still support the STARS Disability Ministry at College Church, and now you have a little more flexibility as well. Register at www.runforthestars.com, and then just log your run from now through June 19. 5K runners will submit their time through their race confirmation email.

Last year's Run for the STARS provided recreation and training opportunities for over 100 STARS and respite for their families.

Run for the STARS has always been more than a race. It's a way that people can come alongside people affected by disability and remind them that they matter.

Cost is $30 for the 5K or wheelchair division; $10 for the STARS Dash or Kids Dash.

It includes short-sleeved performance cotton T-shirts for adults and kids. Shirts will be available after June 19 due to taking precautions for COVID-9, an in order to ensure each registrant would receive a shirt. Many raffle prize packages to local businesses

Custom medals for top 3 in standard CARA age groups.

The STARS ministry serves nearly 150 families in the western suburbs and is open to all. Participants in the program do not need to attend College Church. The ministry provides social, recreational, and educational programs for children and adults and provides support to their parents and caregivers. Run for the STARS provides assistance for these families in the areas of recreation, respite and training. Learn more at www.college-church.org.
