Meet children's author during Bernie's Book Bank fundraiser

How Impressive!, a custom gift shop in downtown Libertyville, will be featuring Cristina Cozzone, a children's author, who recently wrote a book about the significant impact and benefits that actually came out of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"When the Universe Whispered Hush" just hit the Amazon bestseller list. It is a metaphorically written book on the moment we were all asked to be still and reflect on what is important to us and our families.

It is not only about the recent pandemic, "it is a book about looking for the good, even when it may seem impossible," Cozzone said.

Kristine Knutson of Libertyville will open her store for an author book signing from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 4, and will donate two books for every one sold that night to l Bernie's Book Bank.

"Any time we can have an opportunity to get books donated to us is a true blessing," said Brian Floriani, founder of Bernie's Book Bank.

For more information, visit www.berniesbookbank.org. How Impressive! is at 326 N. Milwaukee Ave., downtown Libertyville.
