Get tips on coping with anxiety at April 12 virtual program with St. Thomas the Apostle
Anxiety can be an exhausting, depleting emotion but you don't have to let it rule your life.
For some good advice about coping with anxiety, plan to attend a free online session on "How to Live Hopefully in a Culture of Anxiety" from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 12, featuring Lauren Friedrich, director of clinical psychology training at SamaraCare Counseling, as guest speaker.
The program is part of the Wellspring Educational Events series of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.
Friedrich's specialty areas of treatment include anxiety and panic disorders, autism/Asperger's disorders, behavioral issues, depression and stress, mood disorders, psychological assessment and testing, and substance abuse and addiction. Friedrich completed her master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
Registration is required by Friday morning, April 9, to ensure Zoom contact information can be made available to participants.
