Bloomingdale Township to offer seniors help with COVID-19 vaccine sign-ups

Bloomingdale Township Supervisor Michael D. Hovde Jr. recently announced that the Bloomingdale Township Senior Center will be assisting seniors in the township with the COVID vaccine sign-up.

Supervisor Hovde stated "The township has received a number of calls and inquiries regarding the sign up for the COVID vaccine. While we encourage residents to contact their health care providers for advice and guidance regarding the COVID vaccine, many of our seniors either do not have internet access, or need assistance with the process, and as part of our mission, I have directed staff to help those in need."

Due to social distancing requirements, an appointment is required.

Interested residents should call the Senior Center at (630) 529-7794 to sign up.

Staff will assist residents in registering with several different providers.
