Schwabe Group Offers Free Coffee Drinks to Frontline Workers with 'Thanks a Latte' Event

SchwabeGroup, an Arlington Heights-based team of real estate professionals within @properties, is offering free coffee drinks to medical personnel, first responders and frontline workers during a "Thanks A Latte" event.

The event will take place on Friday, February 12 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Around Cafe in Arlington Heights. Anyone who shows a badge or ID can pick up a free drink from the coffee shop.

"This past year has been so incredibly challenging for our frontline workers," said SchwabeGroup Team Leader, David Schwabe. "My team wants to provide a little thank you to the heroes in our neighborhood while supporting a local coffee shop."

Schwabe came up with the idea for the "Thanks a Latte" event after hearing stories from his daughter, who is attending nursing school and has been working as a CNA during the winter and summer breaks.

"We've all heard stories on the news and social media about what medical professionals have had to endure throughout the pandemic," said Schwabe. "But watching my daughter work and hearing these stories firsthand really made me want to give back to those in our community who have been working so hard for so long. My team is looking forward to the event, so they can say thank you to these men and women."

The Schwabe Group's "Thanks A Latte" event will run Friday, February 12 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Around Cafe. The coffee shop, owned by Chris Choi, is at 28 E. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights.
