Glenbard webinar to outline steps for college planning during a pandemic

Glenbard District 87's Equity and Inclusion Committee and Families United in Support of Excellence and Equity for all, especially students that identify as African American or Black (FUSE) will present "Planning For Your Future During the Pandemic" with Raquel Wilson, assistant director for Student Services, District Equity and Directions Program, and a distinguished panel of guests.

Join them at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, for this virtual event. A link will be posted at glenbardgps.org under the upcoming speakers menu tab.

This workshop will assist students and families in the college search process.

Wilson will be joined by education specialists and alumni who will explain the role of grades, test scores, work experience and financial aid. Glenbard North school counseling department chair Coleen Joyce-Guzman will discuss what families can expect from each stage of the application process.
