Warrenville's Summer Daze canceled; returns in August 2021

After careful review of the Restore Illinois guidelines for festivals and events set forth by the State of Illinois and the Illinois Department of Public Health, the Warrenville Park District, along with partners City of Warrenville and Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce, has made the difficult decision to cancel Summer Daze on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 7-8.

While we were looking forward to this event this year, the health and safety of our patrons, staff, partners, volunteers, vendors, and first responders is, and always will be, our main priority. Summer Daze has been the signature Warrenville summer event over the past 42 years.

This long-time summer tradition brings together the Warrenville community and surrounding areas to celebrate with great music, food and entertainment.

"Cancelling Summer Daze is extremely disappointing for all of us. This event is something the residents of Warrenville look forward to every year and I take great pride in seeing the community come together," said Executive Director Tim Reinbold. "However, I know that ultimately the health and safety of everyone involved is what is most important."

"We look forward to planning next year's event and we will have a lot to celebrate."

Summer Daze is planned to return in full next year on Aug. 6-7, 2021. The Warrenville Park District and the Summer Daze Committee extend their heartfelt gratitude for the support of Summer Daze over the last 42 years and we look forward to enjoying Summer Daze with you again next summer!
