Norix Furniture donates restaurant gift cards to Central DuPage Hospital COVID-19 frontline workers

The battle against COVID-19 often takes a tremendous toll on our front-line health care workers, and employees of Norix Healthcare Furniture in West Chicago chose to allocate money from the "Norix Gives" program to support both our health care heroes and local restaurants.

"It's a small way to thank the doctors, nurses and other front-line health care workers for their dedication and commitment," said Paige Kingsley, Norix Furniture. "We also have a chance to bolster the local economy by supporting our local restaurants, many of whom are suffering during these challenging times."

The cards, which included a thank-you note from Norix employees, were delivered to Central DuPage Hospital and purchased from local restaurants including Gnarly Knots, Charlie Fox's Pizza, Limestone Coffee & Tea, Riverside Pizza & Pub, Moveable Feast, Niche, Sergio's Cantina and La Zaza Trattoria.

"It's a small token of appreciation, but it carries with it all our support and gratitude for our health care heroes," said Kingsley.
