Two Lives....about to change forever
"Brandon" and "Fernando" suffer from severe tachycardia and treatment for this is not available for them in their native country of El Salvador. So, the Illinois/Indiana chapter of Healing the Children has once again worked with Good Shepherd Hospital and "Regalo de Vida" in San Salvador to bring both young men here for help. They are each 16 and stay with approved host families in the Barrington area. Early next week, they'll undergo a cardiac ablation procedure which is expected to completely cure them of their severe arrhythmia. Less than weeks later, they will return to their homeland, ready to resume the active and exciting life of a normal teenager.
