Cary-Grove Area Chamber hosts grand opening at Wonderland Kids Academy
On Monday, Sept. 30, the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening event at Wonderland Kids Academy, 750 Northwest Hwy. in Fox River Grove.
Wonderland Kids Academy is a daycare and preschool, offering care for toddlers through kindergarten-age children. Their staff consists of highly trained teachers that nurture children to reach developmental milestones while ensuring they become confident, joyful and fully prepared students.
Wonderland Kids Academy's CEO Larisa Kislov brings over 30 years of experience as a child psychologist and educator.
"The Wonderland Kids Academy is our flagship location, with the first serving the Lake County community for over 15 years and graduating thousands of children," Kislov said. "Our aim is to become like a second family for the community that we serve. Our students are taught essential life skills through art, vocal, martial arts, music, theater, language and gymnastics. We look forward to serving the McHenry County community for many years!"
Wonderland Kids Academy offers full and part-week classes, divided into age-appropriate programs. Their preschool curriculum is based on Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards. They also offer an Enrichment Kindergarten program, an After-School program, and provide well-balanced, nutritious and delicious breakfast, snack, hot lunch and dinner.
All the staff of Wonderland Kids Academy have a bachelor or master's degree in early childhood education with an average of 10 years' experience, love children and are CPR/First Aid/ AED certified. Wonderland Kids Academy is licensed by DCFS and based on compliance with their licensing standards, the Illinois Child Care Act, and by recommendation from The Health Department, State Fire Marshall and the local Fire Department.
