Warrenville Park District's Fall Fest returns Oct. 25

Celebrate fall with the Warrenville Park District!

The Warrenville Park District is gearing up for a howling good time with its annual Fall Fest from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the Recreation Center, 3S260 Warren Ave. in Warrenville. Plenty of free parking will be available.

This event is a great way for families to enjoy the season in a safe environment and will feature a fantastic lineup of activities for all ages.

Fall Fest kicks off with a costume parade for little ghosts and goblins around the Recreation Center track overlooking the gym.

The parade begins promptly at 6 p.m. so arrive early!

A costume contest will be judged right after the parade and winners in different age levels will receive prizes.

Participants can purchase $5 wristbands good for unlimited play in the games and inflatable area.

You can avoid the lines and pre-purchase your wristbands beginning Oct. 1.

Everyone will be a winner with loads of candy and prizes at the carnival games. There will also be a balloon twister and caricaturist.

The Entertainment & Food tent is always a big hit with live music by The Johnny Wagner Band.

The concession area grill will be fired up and selling brats and hotdogs along with chips and beverages for families to eat outside under the stars or in the tent while enjoying the music. NorthStar Credit Union will provide the event's sweet spot with free taffy apples.

The third annual Warrenville Bake-Off competition will also be held during the event.

"Throughout the event kids will enjoy the costume parade, carnival games, a petting zoo, and more! The Food & Entertainment tent provides great music while you enjoy freshly grilled food," said Sheri Potter, Warrenville Park District marketing & special events coordinator.

Fall Fest is sponsored by the Warrenville Park District, City of Warrenville and sponsored in part by the City of Warrenville Hotel Tax Fund. Event sponsors are NorthStar Credit Union and Chiro One Wellness Centers.
