Pulte Homes has signed on as a Gold Sponsor for the Woodridge Rotary 20th Mini Triathlon which is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 11.

It is Chicago area's largest Mini Triathlon and a major event for the community, attracting several thousand participants and spectators.

"The partnership of Pulte and the Woodridge Rotary Club continues a tradition that benefits all the residents of the area. This is a great community social and athletic activity - and our sponsors help support many worthy community projects," said Debbie Mascitti, Woodridge Rotary president.

"Pulte Group of Illinois could not be more excited to be selling our consumer-inspired home designs in two incredible locations in Woodridge! Our company's vision is to build consumer inspired homes and communities to make lives better. In partnership with the Village of Woodridge, we stand together to delight our future homeowners at our newest one-of-a-kind community, Hobson Hill," noted John Hudson, general sales manager. Uptown at Seven Bridges is quickly selling its townhouses.

The Mini Triathlon, held at the Woodridge Park District's award-winning Cypress Cove Aquatic Park, 8301 Janes Ave. in Woodridge, is the major fundraiser for the Woodridge Rotary Club. Registration ends at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7.

The Woodridge Club seeks to provide opportunities for children and families to enrich their lives. Each year, 15 projects and organizations are supported by proceeds from the Mini Triathlon.
