Local fishing guide Phil Piscitello to speak at Fox Valley Area Anglers meeting

The Fox Valley Area Anglers, a multispecies fishing club, is hosting 10 tournaments and 9 additional fishing outings from April through October.

Club meetings are held at 7 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Tap House Grill, 3341 W. Main St., St. Charles. Each month, a speaker will offer a presentation. The speakers cover a variety of topics.

The May 28 meeting will feature Phil Piscitello who has fished in many of the walleye tournaments on the Chain O' Lakes. He also joined several fishing clubs including Muskies Inc. Chicagoland Chapter, North Shore Rod & Reel Club, and Walleyes Unlimited. Piscitello has been a Walleye Unlimited member for over 27 years. He fished the Professional Walleye Trail and Masters Walleye circuits, as well as the Sturgeon Bay Open for Smallmouth Bass for several years. He also attended the Musky Hunter school on Lake of the Woods for 4 years straight. Since then, Piscitello has fished for Muskies throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. He also has fished Green Bay and Lake St. Clair. His local waters include the Fox River Chain, Shelbyville, Shabbona and many southern Wisconsin lakes as well. He owns and operates Borderline Fishing Line Guide Service and specializes in walleye, bass, muskie, and pike. He really loves this sport and is a phenomenal teacher! His clients have boasted about his teaching abilities on the water and his patience with beginners new to the sport of Muskie fishing.
