Chicago Steel to host panel discussion on 'Breaking Into Sports' Feb. 15

"Breaking Into Sports," the third annual panel discussion by industry professionals, will be sponsored by the Chicago Steel hockey team at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Fox Valley Ice Arena, 1996 S. Kirk Road in Geneva.

The public is invited.

Admission is $12 and includes a ticket to the Steel-Muskegon Lumberjacks game at 7:05 p.m.

The panel will be held in the arena's third-floor conference room.

Panelists scheduled are Laura Jordan, fan development for the Chicago Blackhawks; Thomas Siwek, new business development for the Chicago White Sox; Tim Weaver, senior manager, partnerships and media sales for Chicago Wolves; and Scott Foley, premium account executive for Chicago Dogs.

Panelists will share their stories and reflect on requirements to succeed in professional sports.
