Bloomingdale Township Senior Council hosts 32nd annual Christmas party

The volunteer Senior Council of Bloomingdale Township hosted its 32nd annual Christmas party at Medinah Banquets in Addison.

This year, more than 380 seniors attended, along with Township Supervisor Michael D. Hovde, Jr., Highway Commissioner Bob Czernek, Assessor John Dabrowski, Clerk Joyce Hundhausen, township trustees Michael McGinn, Branka Poplonski and Robert Tolentino.

A great time was had by all!

Special thanks to Karen Kramer, Bump Waghorne and Jake Springer and the volunteers at the Senior Council for all their efforts.

More than 1,600 seniors utilized the Bloomingdale Township Senior Center in November for trips, Meals on Wheels, and other activities.

Bloomingdale Township serves all or parts of the villages of Addison, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Itasca, and Roselle. Unincorporated areas of the township include the areas of Medinah, Mallard Lake Estates, Nordic Park, Itasca Ranchettes, Glen Ellyn Countryside, Keeneyville, Lombard, and a small portion of Schaumburg.
