  Wood Dales's Fire Protection District Deputy Chief Patrick Johl, right, and Fire Chief James Burke stand in their fire station, which was built in 1970 and used to be their headquarters and training tower. Now the tower is falling down brick by brick. They are asking voters for a referendum for a new roof, new AC/heating system and to repair the tower.
