Illinois, Community Association Manager Empowers Young Leaders Across Country

Dawn Stangle, CMCA, AMS was sworn into the office of National Vice President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) USA on September 18, 2021 at the Annual Meeting.

JCI USA is a membership organization of 18- to 40-year-olds dedicated to leadership development that creates positive impact in their local, national, and international communities.

As a National Vice President, Dawn holds a position of critical leadership in an organization of approximately 8,000 young active citizens in over 300 chapters nationwide and almost 120 countries worldwide. Dawn will be traveling throughout the nation to the states of Minnesota, Hawaii, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Rhode Island and New Hampshire to assist local chapters in their work for positive change.

In 2021, Dawn was the 90th State President of the Illinois Jaycees. Dawn also works as Community Association Manager at the Grand Dominion by Del Webb in Mundelein and has been a member of her local chapter the Schaumburg Jaycees since 2014.

She says, "Being a Jaycee has given me the opportunity to meet people, build relationships, become a better leader, and have a positive impact on the community. We all come from different backgrounds, different places, varying in ages, leading different lives, but one principle brings us all together - We believe...that service to humanity is the best work of life."
