Home of the Sparrow receives $25,000 grant from Community Foundation for McHenry County

Home of the Sparrow in McHenry would like to recognize the generosity of The Community Foundation for McHenry County for the $25,000 grant. The nonprofit organization could not do this without the support from the community to make an impact on the lives of women and their families.

These funds will be used to support various housing and supportive services for women and children who are experiencing homelessness.

Clients of Home of the Sparrow will be supported through services such as life skills and educational classes, employment program, housing programs, individualized case management, and more! This grant will positively impact the lives of those in need within McHenry County and Northern Illinois and help Home of the Sparrow further their mission of providing hope, opportunity, and support that empowers women and children as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Thank you so much for your generous support!
