American Legion to host meat raffle Oct. 1

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231 will host its Fall Meat Raffle at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the post home, 1101 W. Algonquin Road.

Join the Ladies Auxiliary for the meat raffle with the opportunity to win roasts, kebobs, steaks, bacon, ribs, pub burgers, chops and more varieties of meat. There will be multiple winners per raffle.

This fundraiser is open to the public, so bring your family, friends and neighbors too. Snacks will be served and drink specials will be available. Proceeds will assist with funding post events and keeping the post open for the benefit of all veterans and their families.
