Writers Welcome to Attend Presentation By Author Joelle Charbonneau

Chicago area writers are invited to an evening with author Joelle Charbonneau from 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, March 13 in the Rasmussen South Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. This free event, sponsored by the American Christian Fiction Writers Chicago Chapter, does not require registration.

Charbonneau authored the young adult trilogy The Testing, which placed her on the New York Times and USA Today best-seller lists. Other books by Charbonneau include the Rebecca Robbins mysteries and the Glee Club mysteries. In addition to writing, she has performed in opera and musical theatre productions throughout the Chicago area.

Charbonneau will share her experiences and discuss strategies for handling rejection. Attendees will learn how to understand and triumph over rejection, as well as learn tricks of the trade for persevering until a manuscript is accepted for publication.
