Lake County roundup: Libertyville tops Regina
Libertyville 53, Regina 45: At Buffalo Grove, Kristy Williams scored 19 points for the third straight game, as the Wildcats snapped a three-game losing streak.
Libertyville (2-4) jumped out to a 16-1 lead after one quarter, thanks in part to two 3-pointers by Williams. Hannah Walton scored 4 of her 12 points in the opening eight minutes for the Wildcats.
Katelynn Jennings and Erin Waehner had 8 points apiece.
Grant 48, Deerfield 46: At Deerfield, the Bulldogs won behind Gina Cellucci's 17 points (five 3-pointers) and Amber Potts' 15.
Colleen Forrest had 12 points to lead Deerfield.
