Jacobs 35, St. Charles East 34: The Golden Eagles won their first game of the season, knocking off the Saints at the Wheaton North tournament. Mel Schwerdtmann led Jacobs (1-12) with 19 points and Jessica Tennant added 11.
Glenbard North 62, Elgin 19: Briana Hamilton's 5 points led the Maroons (0-14) at the Wheaton North tournament.
Marian Central 55, Burlington Central 54: Despite another big game from senior Alli Settanni (27 points), the Rockets couldn't get over the hump in this nail-biter at the Northern Illinois Holiday Classic. Brenda Thasavong added 11 points for BC (7-9).
