Walsh town halls scheduled

Congressman-elect Joe Walsh has scheduled four additional town halls during the month of December on his listening tour of the 8th Congressional District. An initial town hall in Fox Lake last Saturday drew more than 100 constituents.

The upcoming meetings are: Noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lake Zurich Police Department, 200 Mohawk Trail; 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at McHenry West High School, 4724 W. Crystal Lake Road, McHenry; 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Schaumburg Township Hall, 1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates; and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 at Gurnee Village Hall, 325 N. O'Plaine Road, Gurnee.

The Walsh office says all viewpoints are welcome at the town halls.
