Unbeaten Fremd wraps up MSL West

Defending Mid-Suburban West champion Fremd clinched an outright championship with an 18-5 victory over host Conant on Thursday.

The Vikings (23-0, 9-0), who also earned the top seed in the upcoming Barrington sectional, got 6 goals from Erika Lauraitis and 4 from Sam Delprado.

Schaumburg 11, Palatine 4: Kristy Bessler had 4 goals and Corrinne Trujillo had 3 as the host Saxons (15-6, 7-2) maintained No. 2 position in the MSL West.

Barrington 11, Hoffman Estates 6: Yessica Buenrostro led the way with 4 goals and Chloe Padula and Victoria Waring had 2 apiece to help the Fillies (10-6, 5-4), who have earned the No. 3 seed in the sectional they'll host, to an MSL West victory.

Hoffman Estates (5-15, 1-8) earned the No. 6 sectional seed at Barrington.
