COD joins in Yorktown Holiday Fair Oct. 21-23

The College of DuPage will offer pottery-making demonstrations at Yorktown Shopping Center's Holiday Shopping and Craft Event Friday through Sunday, Oct. 21 to 23.

Ceramics students will be on hand, offering demonstrations on the pottery wheel and also selling their creations.

The annual fair at Yorktown will also include glass art, hand-crafted wood pieces, paintings, original jewelry, gourmet items, candles, handmade dolls clothes and knit items, as well as contemporary dance and Chinese dance performances.

The College of DuPage offers several degree and certificate programs in Fine and Applied Art, including Art, Graphic Arts Technology, Graphic Design, Motion Picture/Television, Music, Photography and Theater.
