Country Financial makes donation to Save-A-Joe Inc.
Save-A-Joe Inc. was founded by President Paul Schifferer and Vice President Katherine Banik. Together they partner with many local small businesses, corporate sponsors and community members to raise money to assist various veteran service organizations.
One hundred percent of all funds raised are donated to not only help fight veteran homelessness but to aid our disabled veterans and assist those veterans living in VA Homes within our communities.
As part of the Fox Valley Chapter of the Business Network International networking group, Bobbi was approached to become a sponsor for the Save-A-Joe Veteran Charity and without hesitation, she made an immediate donation. After further research of Country Financial's policy regarding financial representatives/agents making donations on the company's behalf to various charities, she then approached those in her agency district and asked them for their donations.
In total, these Country Financial employees raised $9,500 in funds that will be donated to Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton, Illinois.
