Help support a local family on July 30

Help support a local Carol Stream family from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at Flip Flops Tiki Bar and Grill, 1022 Fountain View Drive in Carol Stream.

Tim and Janna McGivern have been active residents of Carol Stream for over 20 years. Their 15-year-old son, Matt, a student at Glenbard South High School, is autisic.

Four years ago, Janna was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. It has been a continuous struggle in and out of the hospital, with surgery after surgery. Insurance only helps for so long and as a community it is our turn to help lend a hand to our neighbors.
