Buffalo Grove shocks Hersey
It’s all going north for Buffalo Grove.
The Bison won for the 14th time in their last 19 games and sophomore Bailey North struck for a career-high for a second straight night.

Hersey (22-6, 9-1) battled foul trouble as four starters finished with 4 fouls, including all-stater Megan Rogowski who scored 30 points (six 3-pointers) in about 24 minutes of action.
BG (15-13, 7-3), which handed Hersey its only loss in the MSL East, finished second in the conference.
Andrea DiPrima, Emily Cho and KC Dunne each scored 11 points for the visitor while Alanna Zawlocki added 8.
Stefanie Mueller chipped in 15 for Hersey.
Prospect 37, Rolling Meadows 28: For the second straight night, Prospect (14-11, 6-4) held its opponent to a season-low point total and the Knights’ victory serves as their first three-game winning streak of the season.
“It was a total team effort right for the start,” said Prospect coach Martha Kelly. “I just think we came out with a lot more energy.”
Sophomore Michele Molini and Sarah Hunt led the visiting Knights with 8 points apiece while Christina Brucci added 7 and Jessica Petrovski 6.
“Jessica was big for us again in the fourth quarter,” Kelly said. “She hit two big jump shots down the stretch.”
Prospect was without senior guard Sarah Winans, who suffered a knee injury against Buffalo Grove the night before.
Meadows (17-10, 5-5) was led by freshmen Jackie Kemph (10 points) and Jenny Vliet (8).
