Winfield gardeners to talk about tree care Feb. 5

Winfield Area Gardeners will be fighting cabin fever with dreams of spring at the first meeting of 2011.

Arborist Nicholas Saba will lead the group in a discussion of winter care of our beloved trees. The change in temperatures, snow cover, and moisture have lasting consequences on the landscape, join us to find out how it effects you.

Have you seen signs of the emerald ash borer, do you know what it looks like? If you have ash trees you should know all about this little green pest. It's made it's way to the Winfield area, Saba will educate us on the hazards of the ash borer.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the meeting room at
