Alyssa Pena scored 18 points and Lauren Steimle added 10 as the Elgin Academy girls basketball team continued to tune up for next week's Class 1A regional with a 46-39 win over Woodlands Academy Wednesday night.

Caitlin Ward added 7 points for the Hilltoppers (11-9).

CL South 48, Dundee-Crown 23: Michelle Gaede had 15 points and Jenny Hanrahan added 12 as the Gators (15-11, 5-3) won this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division game at D-C. Katie Burton added 10 points for CL South, while Megan Fasanella led the Chargers (2-20, 0-9) with 15 points.

Hersey 73, Streamwood 41: The Sabres (8-16) fell behind 37-17 at halftime and couldn't recover in this loss to Hersey at the Season's End Tournament. Michelle Tomczak led Streamwood with 13 points. Emma Schmidt and Jessica Cerda had 8 each.
