Volunteers needed for Woodstock Christmas project

Volunteers are needed to help with “Christmas Clearing House,” a Rotary Club of Woodstock project that provides food, children’s presents, gloves and mittens to families in need during the Christmas season.

Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:

타 Verify recipient information and make follow-up phone calls. Bilingual is a plus. Call Karin at (815) 338-8790.

타 Tag Days volunteers are needed to collect donations at locations around Woodstock on Wednesday, Nov. 21; Friday, Nov. 23; or Saturday, Nov. 24. Call Lynn Fiala at (815) 321-5017.

타 Warehouse volunteer, bagging toys or packing food boxes at the old Farm and Fleet Building at the corner of routes 47 and 14 on Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.; or packing food boxes on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.

타 Drivers needed on Delivery Day, Saturday, December 22 from 8 a.m. to noon. No need to call, just show up at the warehouse.
