Crystal Lake preschool to host open house

The Crystal Lake Park District Barlina House Preschool staff invites prospective students and their parents to stop by an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Barlina House is at 705 Barlina Road in Crystal Lake. Be sure to bring your future preschooler along, too.

Information about preschool registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be available. The Barlina House Preschool program is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services. The open house is a way to decide if Barlina House program is a good fit for your child. Registration will not be accepted at the open house.

Crystal Lake Park District Resident registration for the Barlina House preschool program for 2012-2013 will begin in person at the Administrative Office at 1 E. Crystal Lake Ave. from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6.

Open registration for nonresidents and residents begins Feb. 8. Registration is in-person only.

A nonrefundable $50 registration fee is required. To be added to a waiting list, a nonrefundable deposit of $25 is required for each class. Tuition is discounted 5 percent for second and third children of same immediate family. The first month’s tuition will be billed in August and is due by Sept. 1.
