Jacobs 60, Huntley 50: The Golden Eagles (5-17, 2-9) avenged a loss earlier in the season to Huntley by winning this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division game over the Red Raiders (11-10, 5-4). Lauren Grady and Jessica Tennant paced the Golden Eagles as they recorded 17 and 14 points, respectively. Sam Andrews (19 points) and Abbey Shaw (15 points) each recorded double-digits to lead the Red Raiders.
Batavia 53, Elgin 34: The Maroons (1-21, 1-8) played well defensively, but it wasn't enough as they fell to the Bulldogs at home in Upstate Eight River action. Briana Hamilton sparked the Maroons offensively as she recorded half of her teams total points with 17.
Westminster Christian 53, Mooseheart 34: Porsche Griggs recorded 13 points and McKaila Hays chipped in 11 as the Warriors (16-6) cruised to an opening round win of the NAC Conference tournament against Mooseheart. Westminster will challenge Rockford Christian Life today at 11:30 a.m. in the semifinals.
Hampshire 55, Johnsburg 48: Michelle Dumlouin poured in 16 points as the Whip-Purs (14-11, 6-3) won in the FVC Fox. Elizabeth Panzica also reached double figures with 10 points.
Geneva 74, Larkin 53: The Royals (3-19, 0-9) were down by as many as 24 at the half as they dropped their UEC River matchup to the Vikings. Victoria Patterson was Larkin's only bright spot with 10 points.
Neuqua Valley 68, Streamwood 45: Jessica Cerda chipped in 15 points and Hannah McGlone put in 13 but it wasn't enough for the Sabres (10-12) to topple the Wildcats in this Upstate Eight crossover.
