Lifetime Behavioral Health celebrates 5 years in West Chicago

West Chicago, Illinois: November 20, 2013 - The City of West Chicago has learned of a "marketplace milestone" in its business community.

October marked the fifth anniversary of Lifetime Behavioral Health, a private practice that provides accessible, quality and professional counseling services to adults, teens, children, and their families.

The firm employs 14 therapists who, with their focus on wellness, help clients reclaim and refine their strengths within to help them achieve balance in their lives. It is this dedication to every client, and the “focus on wellness” philosophy that has helped Lifetime Behavioral Health grow into what it is today.

When asked about what makes Lifetime Behavioral Health so unique and effective, Katherine Walker, Founder and Executive Director at Lifetime, asserts that it's the staff and their common vision.

“We all believe that everyone already possesses the ability to live a life of peace, hope, psychological and emotional wellness. We are facilitators of a process--our clients do the real work and we provide them with hope, encouragement, and a sounding board.”

Lifetime Behavioral Health is dedicated to promoting mental wellness throughout the Western Suburbs through its work with NAMI Dupage and WeGo Together for Kids. In addition, on October 26, 2013 Lifetime participated in the Chicagoland Out of the Darkness Community Walk to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This walk supports the research, advocacy, education and prevention of suicide. Lifetime therapist Dede Smith walked on behalf of Team Brandon with a goal of raising $1,500 in support of this powerful cause.
