The Outreach House is celebrating its first year with Aug. 15 open house

The Outreach House guests, donors, volunteers, and staff are coming together to celebrate their first year of bringing the nonprofit's four programs under one roof and offering community support to neighbors in need at the new location in Lombard.

Serving many local DuPage communities (York Township, Glendale Heights and Addison) in just one year, services have increased to meet the growing need:

• 75% increase in total visits to the food pantry each month;

• 130% increase in visits to Clothes Closet;

• 90% increase in diapers distributed through the First Things First program.

Join the open house celebration at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the nonprofit, 805 S. Main St., Suite A in Lombard.

Guests, donors, volunteers and communities are invited to come celebrate. Light refreshments will be served.
