Local teen becomes Eagle Scout

Scott Granfeldt, 18, of Roselle and a senior at Lake Park High School has achieved Scouting's highest award and recently became an Eagle Scout. Scott earned the required 21 merit badges and performed an Eagle Scout Service project. Scott led a team of fellow scouts and rehabilitated the Bloomingdale Food Pantry, painting walls and replacing trim to make the building more aesthetic to those who go there, especially those struggling with hunger.
