Glenbard to host What Parents Need to Know: Drugs in Our Community

Parents are urged to join Glenbard District 87 on April 6 for What Parents Need to Know: Drugs in Our Community Carol Stream Speaks Out Panel Discussion and Resources.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. April 6 at Glenbard North High School with a resource and organization fair, featuring 26 groups, including the Glenbard Parent Series. The fair will be followed at 7 p.m. with a panel discussion and Q & A session, followed at 8 p.m. with the resource and organization fair.

Guest speakers include Doug Petit of Parents and Teens Together discussing underage drinking; DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin; Carol Stream Police Sgt. Don Cummings; and Caroline Kacena, who lost her son to a heroin overdose.

Glenbard North is located at 990 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream.
