Glenbard District 87 capital projects come in $307,000 under budget
At the Glenbard District 87 Board of Education meeting on Jan. 23, Director of Buildings and Grounds Bob Verisario provided final financial summaries for the 2016 district-wide capital improvement projects and the Glenbard West High School science classroom addition. These large projects came in $307,799 under budget.
"Strong project focus and collaboration led to summer project work completion on time and under budget by more than $300,000," said Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations/CSBO Chris McClain. "Our facility director, assistant principals for operations, along with our key vendors and contractors made this summer project work extremely successful."
Glenbard District 87 continues to make capital improvements to its buildings as part of its 10-year master facility plan.
