An initiative of the College's Community Engagement Department, members of COD Cares volunteer corps cleared garden beds at the College's Fuel Garden and St. James Farm, cleaned a portion of the DuPage River's east branch, tagged storm sewers for The Conservation Foundation, and removed debris and prepared compost on COD's Glen Ellyn campus.

The Community Engagement Department supports the college's mission to be a center of excellence in teaching, learning and cultural experiences and its vision to be the primary college district residents choose for higher quality education.

The college believes in the transformative nature of education and strives to positively impact the communities and organizations in District 502.
