Clearbrook hosts Captivating Casino-themed soiree, Friends Wine and Beer Social raises funds for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Clearbrook, a renowned nonprofit organization committed to delivering personalized services and programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, once again demonstrated its dedication by organizing a remarkable twist on a traditional event. The highly anticipated Friends Beer and Wine Social, with a thrilling casino theme, was held at Church Street Brewing Company in Itasca, on June 24.
Celebrating over 65 years of service, Clearbrook continues to prioritize fundraising initiatives to support its mission of empowering and enriching the lives of adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Friends Beer and Wine Social provided an incredible opportunity for supporters to contribute to this noble cause while enjoying an unforgettable evening.
More than 150 enthusiastic attendees gathered at the locally famous Church Street Brewing Company, immersing themselves in a captivating experience filled with an open bar, and a wide selection of Church Street signature beers, fine wines and enticing cocktails. The event's vibrant ambience set the stage for a night of indulgence, camaraderie and charitable giving.
Guests were treated to a delectable loaded buffet, with an assortment of dishes. The silent auction, a popular highlight of the event, offered attendees an opportunity to bid on an array of unique and valuable items, adding an element of excitement to the night. Furthermore, participants embraced the thrill of chance by trying their luck at various casino games, including blackjack, poker and roulette.
