Huntley Rotary Club welcomes new members

On June 24, District Governor Lyle Staab installed Steve Capes, the newest member of Rotary Club of Huntley. The Carpentersville resident was sponsored by Rotarian James Drendel.

Capes is the manager of operations for DeFiore Funeral and Cremation Services in Huntley.

Capes wanted to quickly become involved and participated in the Rotary Corn booth at Rockin' Ribfest. He is anxious to join the roasting crew to serve local roasted sweet corn on Labor Day weekend at Summer Sunset Festival.

The Rotary Club of Huntley hosts breakfast meetings on the first and third Thursdays each month at Pinecrest Golf Club. They are always interested in guests who wish to become more involved in the community.
