Author A.J. Cattapan signs books at TeaLula event July 23
PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Amazon best-selling author A.J. Cattapan will be signing books at a special "Meet the Author" event at TeaLula in Park Ridge on Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, and tea and treats will be served.
Cattapan is the author of "Angelhood," a young adult novel released from Vinspire Publishing, which immediately hit the #1 spot on Amazon for Christian teen fiction on social issues when it was released in April. The novel follows 17-year-old guardian angel Nanette, who must protect high school freshman Vera from taking her own life. However, not only does Nanette not have her wings yet, she also has no tangible body or voice. Frustrated by her inability to reach out to Vera and haunted by memories of her own tragic death, Nanette wants to give up, but the sight of Death Shadows haunting Vera convinces Nanette she must persevere. If she's going to find peace in the afterlife, she'll have to find a way to protect both herself and Vera from the Shadows.
Cattapan has also contributed to the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series ("From Lemons to Lemonade") and numerous children's magazines, including Highlights, Hopscotch for Girls, and Pockets. Both "Angelhood" and "Chicken Soup for the Soul: From Lemons to Lemonade" will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
The event is free and open to the public. TeaLula is located at 11 S. Fairview Ave. in Park Ridge, IL. For more information, please visit A.J. Cattapan's website at www.ajcattapan.com/events.
